# Dash

Dash (get-dash.com) is a meeting room display and booking system made by Apt Software Ltd of Auckland, New Zealand. It shows live room availability and schedules on a display outside each meeting room, and lets people book the room in one tap, extend or end meetings, check in, and find and book a free room nearby. Meetings that are not checked in to within a configured time are ended automatically, freeing the room for others. Dash can also remove the room from all future occurrences of a recurring meeting if a configured number of consecutive check-ins are missed. Dash connects directly to Google Calendar, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Exchange, with no server or middleware: each display reads the room calendar straight from the calendar provider, so Dash never sees or stores meeting data. Dash can also read from the Android or Apple device's built-in calendar, so any calendar types supported by the devices are also supported (e.g., CalDAV). It runs as a native app on almost any iPad, Android tablet, or smartphone, as a web app on smart TVs or any screen with a modern browser, and on purpose-built PoE scheduling panels — partners such as PoE Texas ship panels with Dash preinstalled, and other professional panels including Qbic and ProDVX are supported along with their LED status lights. Features include custom branding, privacy controls that hide meeting details, optional passcode protection, and availability in 26 languages; Enterprise plans add central web-based management, MDM/EMM deployment, and room usage analytics. Pricing is per display, not per user: a read-only schedule display is free on unlimited displays, full booking features cost US$3.99 per display per month, and billing is handled through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or Amazon Appstore.  Note that configuration of devices is done in the app itself when using the free version or in the Dash Business plan. When subscribed to Dash Enterprise, it is also possible to configure Dash centrally from the web management dashboard.  Dash Business subscriptions are registered from within the app through an in-app purchase, and Dash Enterprise subscriptions are registered with a license key or pairing code.
